"The physician's highest and only calling is to make the sick healthy, to cure, as it is called. The highest ideal of cure is the rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of health; that is, the lifting and annihilation of the disease in its entire extent in the shortest, most reliable, and least disadvantageous way, according to clearly realizable...principles." -Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, The Organon of Medicine, 1842
Deborah Landowne, C.Hom., CCH, RSHom(NA), C.HP studied Classical Homeopathy in San Francisco, CA at the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy. She has used homeopathy as her primary healthcare choice for almost 25 years, after experiencing a profound healing from both a debilitating acute infection and other chronic health conditions. She holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Southern California; and prior to her studies in homeopathy, she had a 20-year career in marketing, advertising and public relations. In 2003 she produced the award-winning documentary: "Hetch Hetchy; Yosemite's Lost Valley."
Deborah has earned the CCH credential, a prestigious, national certification awarded by the Council for Homeopathic Certification. Practitioners holding this credential must demonstrate a certain level of proficiency in homeopathy, in order to gain the title of Board Certified Classical Homeopath. The CHC meets the NCCA Standards for the Accreditation of Certification Programs, and as such is part of an elite group of organizations that have received this accreditation. In 2013 she also earned the title of RSHom(NA), Registered with the North American Society of Homeopaths. In 2014 she earned the C.HP credential, becoming Certified in Homeoprophylaxis with Free and Healthy Children International and also became a Certified CEASE Therapist.
In addition to homeopathy, Deborah utilizes Gemmotherapy and Oligotherapy in her practice, having trained with Robin diPasquale, ND. She has also studied Gemmotherapy for animals with Stephen Blake, DVM, "The Pet Whisperer."
Growing up in a family of medical professionals, healthcare and biochemistry were dinnertime topics. This upbringing, as well as a firm educational foundation in science, gives Deborah a keen view of both the conventional and the holistic sides of medicine. In addition, Deborah's marketing experience allows her to sift through the "fluff" often presented in the media and understand that we must educate ourselves carefully about our healthcare choices.
My primary interests are in helping people be the best they can be, physically, mentally and emotionally. Homeopathy is a wonderful modality for helping individuals achieve this goal and be free from dis-ease. I am especially interested in helping young women become healthy so that their children will also be free from disease. We must address and do our best to reverse the widespread problems facing our children today. Autism, ADD/ADHD, allergies, dental deformities, etc. are far too common.
I see homeopathy as one of the best choices we have to strengthen our bodies and achieve the sense of well being we all deserve, without unnecessary dependence on pharmaceuticals. Good health is everyone's birthright. With the right tools it IS possible to address the root cause of disease and achieve your health potential!
